Chief Executive Officer, Generation Hong Kong
Mr Brian Cheng is the Chief Executive Officer of Generation Hong Kong, which is a part of the global independent non-profit organisation founded by McKinsey & Company. Since its launch in early 2018, Brian has been leading Generation Hong Kong which aims at transforming the education-to-employment system to prepare, place, and support people into life-changing careers that would otherwise be inaccessible, and to solve the talent mismatch and the future talent needs in Hong Kong.
Prior to joining Generation, Brian had been in the higher education sector over the past decade, leading the Asia operation of The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and the administrative functions of The Hong Kong Institute of Technology.

Brian is passionate about supporting the youth and community in various capacities. Currently, Brian serves as a council member of the Hong Kong Productivity Council, a member of the Advisory Committee on Gifted Education under The Education Bureau, and a member of the Honorary Advisory Committee of Enactus Hong Kong. Brian has also supported various social innovation competitions as a judge, mentor and advisor.
Brian holds a B.A. and a M.B.A. from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Dr Victor Lau Chor Yue, Mr Brain Cheung, Ms Miranda Wong Ho Yee and Ms Hung Lai Fun will be joining a panel discission to analyse and examine the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, how local community programmes and resources can provide entrepreneurship support and incubation services to youth in Hong Kong, and how entrepreneurship can be promoted in schools to better prepare students for the future workplace.
