Miranda Wong leads Partnership & Resources Development Office and Youth Employment Network at the HKFYG. She is also the School Manager of the Federation’s three kindergartens, a primary school and a direct-subsidised college.
With more than 15 years of experiences in largest youth NGO in Hong Kong, Miranda has held key positions in youth leadership, entrepreneurship and social innovation, publications and employment. She has enhanced youth development through heading flagship projects, including revitalisation of the former Fanling Magistracy (The HKFYG Leadership Institute), The HKFYG Jockey Club Social Innovation Centre, Global Youth Entrepreneurs Forum, Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Entrepreneur and Innovation Hub and HSBC Future Skills Project.
She is a seasoned speaker in various occasions including National Convention of Junior Chamber International Hong Kong, Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur Forum, Annual Hotung Lecture cum Biennial Parent Conference and prominent media like HK01, SCMP and TVBS.
She is currently a Commercialisation Advisory Committee Member of Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation Centre and a Committee Member of Chicago Booth Alumni Club of Hong Kong.
Miranda received a Bachelor of Social Sciences Degree from The University of Hong Kong, a Master of Corporate Communications Degree with distinction from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and an MBA from Chicago Booth. She is a certified NLP Trainer and a certified ESG Planner.
Dr Victor Lau Chor Yue, Mr Brain Cheung, Ms Miranda Wong Ho Yee and Ms Hung Lai Fun will be joining a panel discission to analyse and examine the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, how local community programmes and resources can provide entrepreneurship support and incubation services to youth in Hong Kong, and how entrepreneurship can be promoted in schools to better prepare students for the future workplace.
